Why Volunteer at Polling Booths?
Polling booths are our last chance to connect with voters before they cast their ballot. Every conversation at a polling booth is an opportunity to shift a vote and increase our chances of winning in Richmond and Melbourne.
We want to talk to every voter before they enter their polling booth, making sure they know what Ellen and Kathleen stand for and the power of their vote to transform politics and vote the Greens into balance of power.
We can do this, but we need your help./p>
Volunteer for Early Voting
November 12 - November 23
Early voting is open for those unable to vote on Polling Day.
We need volunteers outside each booth throughout the whole period, handing out how-to-vote cards and having conversations with voters.
Volunteer for Polling Day
One in three voters at a polling booth will decide their vote on election day. Polling day is the most exciting and fun day of the campaign and having a strong Greens presence at Booths is key to winning in Melbourne and Richmond.
On polling day, you can help by:
Volunteering at a polling booth
Volunteer to hand out 'How to Vote Cards' to voters.
Ensuring every vote counts
Observing (scrutineering) the count of the votes is essential to ensuring the success of our campaign. We need to ensure that every vote that should go to us, does.
